The LindyBop Courtney Dress (and a Customer Service Tale)

I know I've told you before (and I will tell anyone who will listen!) but I really so absolutely love LindyBop. Mostly because of their amazing dresses and selection (with one example being this precious Courtney dress I got during their big sale recently) but also because their customer service rocks my socks. They're quick to respond to your inquiries and are quick to make mistakes corrected so that you leave happy.

I have a tale to share, my friends. You may read it, you may not, but I am sharing it here as I share my new favorite dress. I don't even care that it's probably more suitable for Spring or Summer. YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, SEASONS!

OK, let's focus here.

A month or so ago, LindyBop surprised us all with an epic sale (one that lasted for weeks, mind you, and still happening!). The world may have even exploded a little as gals rushed to their site. I imagine it was like a virtual Black Friday as stores open before the sun can even think about rising. If LindyBop were a physical store, there may have even been trampling - oh the horror!

Anyway, as you can probably guess, I immediately visited the website and started adding adorable things to my shopping cart. After narrowing down my shopping cart to a reasonable 2 dresses and 1 petticoat, I paid for my items and did my happy dance - each item I bought was $30 or less!?!

I love a good deal, I really really do!

But alas, I got an email a few days later from the customer service team, breaking the news to me that one of the dresses I ordered was mis-labeled on the site and was actually sold out of my size. I was offered a choice: I could receive a refund or a different dress to send in its place. I found that choice to be very reasonable and quite nice.

I browsed but I couldn't find another dress that was the same sale value as the one I originally ordered so I sent her my choice (the beauty I am wearing here) and asked how I should handle paying the difference since it was a bit more than my original order.

Get this - I didn't HAVE to pay the difference! LindyBop sent me the replacement dress without worrying about the difference in price. COME ON!

Some might say that sending me the more expensive replacement dress is how LindyBop should have remedied the issue and that I shouldn't be so pleased as punch, but I don't know, guys. Many shops will simply shoot you an email to tell you that you were getting a refund and that's it. I have definitely had that happen before and what a bummer it is!

To me, LindyBop definitely goes the extra mile to keep their customers happy and it's why I just can't stay away.

Have you had a great experience with LindyBop's customer service? Did they exceed your expectations? Because they always do for me.

On another note, I am trying to get better at victory rolls. I think I am getting better. In these pictures, I straightened the sections I wanted to roll so that they looked more like a smooth roll afterward. I'm not sure how I feel about my hair here but I think I am getting better. I pinned my bands to the side just because having them down like I normally do didn't complement the rolls the way they sat. Victory rolls are challenging, man! If anyone has any tips or tricks, do share in the comments. I am not very good with beauty and hair styling.
