Best of the Best: My Favorite Looks from 2016
January tends to be a month of blogger's block for me - I really do take a break from shopping during the holidays, which leaves me with nothing new to share in January. While NEW things aren't the only things I can share here (and I am all for being frugal and working with what I have), even creatively I feel dried up after the holidays.
That is why January is the perfect time to look back on the outfits shared in the past year and share my favorites!
So ready or not, here they come...

Flowers on the Corner (Hearts & Found)
I feel like every time I look around, I see someone raving over Hearts & Found. It's not hard to imagine why - every time I see a gal in a Hearts & Found dress or skirt, it's always jaw dropping-ly adorable.

Retro Recipe: Stained Glass Windows
Know how our greatest thoughts come to us when we're half asleep at night and we're too cozy under the covers to do anything about it? Well, I also remember random things at this time of night - random, silly, and insignificant things.
Before the holidays, Cody's company had a cookie swap. We were settled into bed, talking about said swap (for whatever reason), and after asking him endlessly about what kinds of cookies were there, I randomly had a memory of little me eating my weight in Stained Glass Windows.

Baby, It's Cold Outside: B.A.I.T Footwear Boots Review
One challenge I have when it gets cold here in New England is footwear. Winter boots just don't go with pinup style. I mean, petticoats and Ugg boots? No, thanks. I mean, I'm so not an Ugg boots kind of a gal, but you catch my drift.
In the past, I've worn my beautiful flats and wedges as long as I could. In-between snow storms, I still trudged on in my beloved warmer weather shoes with tights pulled over my legs. I'm learning it just doesn't cut it on those frigidly cold days or nasty wet days when the roads are covered in slush.
So what's a retro gal from Boston, Massachusetts to do? Find some cute boot options, that's what!
