What do you call sushi with a bowtie?
It was due time that I kicked off a post with a good old fashioned punny joke, don't you think?
And I mean, how could I resist with a blouse as deliciously cute as this Ella Blouse from Heart of Haute?
I started buying some new blouses after I got my new job. I no longer work from home every Friday and instead spend 5 days a week in the office. Since Fridays is our casual day and we can wear jeans, I decided it'd be fun to get some new fun blouses for those days!
I am ALL for rocking dresses 5 days a week but some weeks, a casual jeans day is nice for a break so why not jazz up the top half of the outfit?
Heart of Haute was one of the first places I looked. I absolutely LOVE the high level of quality you get with a HoH garment and their blouses are no exception. Their Estelle blouses are so popular, you're lucky if you EVER get to snag one in your size when the popular colors and prints are re-stocked.
I had seen this Bento Box Ella Blouse before but never made the leap simply because of how much I typically prefer dresses over separates. Let's face it, on the occasions I do wear separates it's a skirt and top and well, the skirt almost always has a print so an adorable blouse like this just wouldn't get worn too often.
So when the new job came to be, I figured it was due time that I add it to my collection and I am SO glad I did. It fits like a DREAM! I was nervous that the neckline would choke but it doesn't at all. I ordered the large and with my 38" bust and 29.5" waist, the fit was spot on as well.
Extra bonus Jonas - no gaping at the buttons! SCORE!
Now, I know I have recently rocked this skirt on the blog - nope, no deja vu here! - but I really couldn't resist breaking it out AGAIN to wear with this blouse. Hello, pink amazingness!
