No-Churn Glazed Donut Ice Cream

So, as some may know, I've got this thing for donuts.

And when I say thing, I mean obsession.

There isn't a donut I'd say no to - even the non-edible kind! I've got donut jewelry, a donut Christmas ornament, donut magnets, donut artwork, a donut calendar, a donut mug, and then some. I am surprised I haven't managed to score a donut covered dress!

Better Than Dating Chocolate Cake (Guest Post)

Today's post is provided by my good gal pal, Jenna! We met when working in the photo studio together over 5 years ago and since then have grown closer due to our shared love for baking, cooking, and well, let's be honest, eating. Though not a blogger herself, I decided she NEEDED to guest post on my blog this summer to share some of her yummy treats as well as her envy-inducing food photography skills so keep an eye out for more from Jenna as summer continues.

You can also check out her photography work on Facebook or her website

So without further ado, here is Jenna with her "Better Than Dating Chocolate Cake"!

ModCloth's Made For Each Other Dress in Brushstrokes

Holy Moses, did you participate in ModCloth's big Memorial Day sale a few weeks back? If I remember correctly, they had a super 40% off sale and also offered a 20% coupon on top of that. I had a store credit burning a hole in my pocket so needless to say, I did some shopping.

I snagged another Paris cardigan while it was discounted (I went with coral and already own the blue version - I am considering snagging the version in mint just to widen my options next winter), a new pair of high-waisted shorts, some cute flats, and BAM - this dress!

Green Shirt Dress from Little Ghost Vintage

Sorry for the single post last week - I was down in Austin, TX for yet another show and knew it would just be wise to only post once. Yeah, I knew my little breather after my crazy April/May was going to be short-lived. You blink and I am back on a plane!

I had never been to Texas before - or anywhere South besides Florida when I was little - and it was pretty darn exciting to head that way for a change (I am so over Vegas) and see somewhere brand spankin' new! Although, it felt an awful lot like Vegas with the dry heat and crazy bar scenes at night - just no casinos full of smoke!

What's Sara Reading? I'm Glad About You by Theresa Rebeck

"I'm Glad About You" is about a couple's lives post-breakup.  Allison and Kyle were high school sweethearts that continued their relationship for 6 rocky years. The story is told from both of their point of views as they make their way down their different paths of life: Allison is in NYC trying to make it as an actress while Kyle is a pediatrician and married back home in Cincinnati. They struggle with their past decisions as their destinies play out before them - it's truly a story that echoes with "what could have been?" as the two protagonists struggle with their current lives.

I enjoyed getting the full story from different angles. With the changing POV, it allowed me to get to know both Allison and Kyle more than I would have if it were told from only one of their POVs. I like getting both sides of the story - there's less of a bias.

No-Bake Oreo Dump Cheesecake

I realized recently that I haven't shared a recipe post since MARCH! And even then, it had been since before Valentine's Day that I shared other treats! What is this madness? I don't know what it is, guys, it just is what it is.
