Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?

This dress is bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s!

Needless to say, when I saw this dress on ModCloth a couple weeks ago, I went bananas. It was just so aPEELing with its bold print and adjustable straps.

What? Oh come on - this dress is just BEGGING for puns.

Okay, okay, puns aside, this dress really does make me quite happy. I am a sucker for anything with a novelty print and I knew I had to have it ASAP.

As I expected, it's adorable in person. It's also great for summer - soft, lightweight, flowy, and ease to get in and out of? Perfect! When it gets to be July around here, it gets sticky and humid as hell and getting dressed becomes such a challenge, I debate just sitting around in my underwear all day as an alternative.

But to go out into the world, I hear it's preferred if you do it full clothed, so...

Speaking of going out into the world - Cody upgraded his Spotify subscription to the family one so that I could get in on the Spotify action and I'm in trouble. I have started curating a Flashback Favorites playlist for when I'm driving and OH MYLANTA it's addicting.

I have about 100 songs on the playlist currently and get my groove on while driving here and there to songs from my middle school years. I'm talking the Britney "Oops...I Did It Again" album era. Remember B*Witched? Or Vitamin C? How about Meredith Brooks' "Bitch" or Samantha Mumba's "Gotta Tell You"? Oh yeah - my playlist covers it ALL. I've included some Cher (umm the "Shoop Shoop Song" anybody??) and classic Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen but I've got Hanson and Spice Girls in there, too. HECK YEAH, I DO!

So far I have found every song of my tweenage years on this thing and it's insane! I don't know why I never got into Spotfiy before. It's throwback HEAVEN!

Cody doesn't approve of my playlist and shakes his head when I play it - but who DOESN'T want to turn the volume up and sing along to Ace of Base? All that she wants is another baby, she's gone tomorrow, boy...

Do you use Spotify? Anyone else rocking to a throwback playlist of their own? If so, what's on yours? What should I add to mine??
