SaraLily Photography: Best of 2015

2015 was a good year for SaraLily Photography, my freelance portrait photography business. Though I wasn't able to squeeze any weddings in this year (although I did book a couple for 2016 so look out!) due to my travel schedule, I had plenty of sessions scattered here and there - most happening in the fall. What is up with that? I'll have months of nothing and then BAM! Everyone and their moms will want photos taken.

Gotta love it.

And I DO!! I love it so!

Looking back at my sessions from the year, it's so nice to see so many familiar faces. I did a lot of work for friends and repeat clients. So many exciting sessions and moments happened this year for SLP. For example, 3 couples I photographed on their wedding day in year past had babies this year and I had the pleasure of photographing one of them over the summer. He hated me, but that's okay.

Besides that, I met a great couple that is getting married this July (I'll be there with bells on - well, with cameras on...), finally got my boss to let me photograph her blended family before the holidays, celebrated a 1st birthday with a fun and messy cake smash session , and experienced a very special and sassy Sweet 16. Scattered throughout were a bunch of fun and meaningful family sessions and then some.

I'd say 2016 was another successful year for my little business and I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store for SLP!
