Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, my friends!! Today kicks off my favorite time of year - HOLIDAY SEASON! Don't agree? Deal with it! Are you one of the grumps who hates talking about happy things like Christmas? Don't talk to me.

I don't get it. Who cares if we talk about Christmas now? It's a time of warm and fuzzy! It's a happy time of year where we can give gifts and eat yummy food and feel joy! What's so bad about being excited about that? Ya bunch of Scrooges!

But before I get myself too wrapped up in all that mumbo jumbo, let's get back to Halloween, shall we?

What are you being for Halloween? Have any fun plans for tonight?

Cody and I are heading to Jamie's annual Halloween bash as usual and this year, I decided to be Lucille Ball! Yep, the one and only! I Love Lucy! I even went and got my hair done - you like? I like.

I think I'll let a hair stylist do my hair everyday for me...yeah right!

I actually found this dress ages ago. I think it was sometime during the summer when I stumbled upon this dress in vintage Etsy shop, Word From the Bird. At the time, it just caught my eye because it was a super cute vintage dress for a decent price. Then I saw she had called it an "I Love Lucy Dress" and I immediately thought of Halloween.

Once I received the dress and saw it in person, I decided that I'd keep it for Halloween and be Lucy herself! Why not?

If only Cody would be my Ricky Ricardo...

Though I didn't go as far as find a string of pearls, I went as far as finding a pair of red pumps to complement the red lips and making my own bottle of Vitameatavegamin out of a MoroccanOil bottle I just used up a couple weeks ago.

Care for a taste?

For those curious, Cody is going to the party as Freddy Kruger tonight. I know, Lucy and Freddy. Hmm, not quite how the story goes. I mean, maybe there's a connection there we can find. It's possible that, while drunk on Vitameatavegamin, Lucy passes out cold backstage and stumbles upon Freddy in her dreams.

Oh snap. I think I thought up the perfect mashup...

Happy Halloween!
